The interviews were conducted by Belmont students with the permission to publish by the interviewee. Each person interviewed is a significant leader in their chosen field, and students asked them a wide range of questions to learn about their leadership styles, life experience, goals, successes, struggles, and to gain greater insight into the many forms and faces of leadership. Those interviewed are leaders across the social spectrum: social enterprise, sports, government, business, health, religion, and other organizations. The oral histories form the basis of the Belmont University Leadership Studies Collection, which is now part of of the OHMS database hosted by the Louie B. Nunn Center for Oral History. The Nunn Center is supported by the University of Kentucky Library. Each interview includes the interview, via audio or video file, a full transcript, and index tags. Interviews are also searchable by keyword.
